Green smoothie recipe

Heey!
I made a green smoothie this afternoon and I thought that I would share the recipe with you. The smoothie looks really disgusting but tastes super delicious. The smoothie contains a lot of healthy ingredients. Spirulina  for example is a green algae used as an excellent source of protein, vitamins and minerals. Spirulina is high in, chlorophyll, vitamin B, vitamin C, D, A, E and vitamin B12. It is also a good source of important minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, zinc to name a few. Spirulina is high in calcium with over 26 times the calcium in milk (dairy). So this smoothie is a great way to get all your vitamins and minerals. Hope you like it, here is the recipe:

  • 1 tsp spirulina powder
  • 1 tsp chlorella powder
  • 1 small mango
  • 1/2 a pineapple (small)
  • 2 handfulls of baby spinach
  • half a lemon
  • 1 & 1/2 cup of water (this make about 4 servings)
  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 orange
Blend all the ingredients and you'll have a super healthy green smoothie.

(Btw, I can really recommend these raw snack bars there are so good!)
